Matthew Perry rose to fame with his iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing on NBC's beloved sitcom, Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004. Remarkably, Perry and his co-stars maintained their strong bond even after their careers took different paths.

In his memoir, "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir," released in November 2022, Perry candidly addressed the challenges he faced, particularly his battles with substance abuse and their impact on his career.

Following the publication of his memoir, an exclusive source shared with Us Weekly that Perry's former co-stars were elated by his accomplishment. The source revealed, "[They're] all very supportive and proud of him for his honesty and the closure he's found in various aspects of his life."

"There was some apprehension leading up to the release, with concerns that he might reveal more uncomfortable secrets," the source continued. "Despite his positive outlook, there's an underlying sense of nervousness because he poured his heart and soul into this project. Delving into the darkest chapters of his life and sharing secrets he had kept for years was a challenging journey. However, he is genuinely pleased with the way it has all come together."
