Dolly Parton graced the stage at the Dallas Cowboys' halftime show on Thanksgiving, captivating the audience with a look reminiscent of the iconic Cowboys cheerleaders. Her ensemble exuded the freshness of spring, leaving everyone in awe.

Stepping into the NFL arena for the Thanksgiving halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys' home game against the Washington Commanders, Dolly, at 77, embraced the occasion with style. The performance, dedicated to the Salvation Army's Red Kettle kickoff, saw the legendary "I Will Always Love You" singer channeling her inner Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Instead of opting for the traditional football player attire, she chose a cropped, long-sleeved blue shirt beneath a white vest adorned with cobalt blue stars, harmonizing perfectly with her white shorts. To complete the look, she added a sheer, bedazzled mesh bodysuit beneath her garments, accentuating her quintessential blonde, voluminous curls.

Taking the stage on November 23, just days after the release of her latest album, Dolly treated the audience to renditions of two of her timeless classics, "Jolene" and "9 to 5," followed by a cover of Queen's "We Are The Champions."

Despite being one of the most cherished figures in the music industry, Dolly had never graced football's grandest stage—the Super Bowl Halftime Show. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in November, she revealed the reasons behind this, stating, "I couldn't do it because of other things, or I just didn't think I was big enough to do it—to do that big of a production." Reflecting on the magnitude of Super Bowl productions, she expressed uncertainty about handling such extensive shows, saying, "I've never done anything with that big of a production. I don't know if I could have. I think at the time that's what I was thinking."

However, her Thanksgiving performance served as a testament to her enduring prowess. While the Super Bowl Halftime Show might be on hold until at least 2025, with Usher slated for the 2024 game, Dolly's recent performance showcased her unwavering ability to command the stage. As we await the day she graces the Super Bowl, let's delve into more highlights from Dolly's unforgettable Thanksgiving NFL performance.
