The star of Legacy of Monsters has exciting news to share exclusively with the media – he and his wife, Meredith Hagner, are expecting their second child. Wyatt, 37, disclosed in a sneak peek of tonight's episode that their 2-year-old son, Buddy, is gearing up for big brother duties and is "prepared as you can be."

In Wyatt's words, "He just kind of rolls with the tide and sees what comes. Buddy understands there's a baby in the belly, but when the baby actually comes out, he's gonna be like, 'Oh my god, that's a real thing!'"

The forthcoming addition to their family will be joining a notable extended family, including Wyatt's dad, Kurt Russell, mom Goldie Hawn, and half-siblings Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson.

Wyatt and Meredith, 36, initially crossed paths on the set of their 2016 movie Folk Hero & Funny Guy. Their journey took a romantic turn when they got engaged in 2018 during a trip to the family's cabin in Colorado. Almost a year later, they returned to the same place to tie the knot.

Their love story reached a milestone in 2021 with the arrival of Buddy, an experience Meredith described as "nothing short of magic." Notably, the Search Party actress spent a significant part of her pregnancy living in a Mercedes Sprinter van as she and Wyatt explored the United States.

Reflecting on this unconventional experience, she shared with Vogue in a March 2021 article, "It can look so romantic sometimes, but more often than not, you're in a timed shower in a rest stop, laughing because you didn't get enough quarters and the water stops while your hair's still covered in soap."

During that time, Meredith expressed plans for their firstborn to inherit their love for travel, stating, "As soon as we can get our new van constructed, we're going to be on the road with him." She added, "That'll be a whole new set of adventures."
